The McAllister family is getting ready for a trip to Paris, France, during the Christmas season. However, Kevin, the youngest member of the family, was sent to his room on the third floor of the house after getting into a fight with his older brother Buzz. Then, in their haste to get to the airport on time the following morning, the rest of the family forgot about Kevin, who was left with the house to himself. Kevin enjoyed having a pizza all to himself, jumping on his parents’ bed, and creating a mess when he was by himself at home. Kevin then learns that two burglars named Harry and Marv are planning to break into his home on Christmas Eve. Kevin moves swiftly.
