Otis, a socially awkward high school student, may not have much experience making love, but living with his mother Jean, a sex therapist, provides him with excellent guidance on the subject during his personal sex education course. Otis has become a reluctant expert on sex, surrounded by manuals, films, and tiresomely frank chats about it. Otis chooses to use his insider knowledge to elevate his standing at school once his peers find out about his personal life. He partners up with shrewd bad girl Maeve to establish an underground sex therapy clinic where they may treat one other’s problems. But Otis comes to the realization that he might require some personal therapy as a result of his studies of teenage sexuality.
