Eight years have passed since the events of the second movie, and Andy is now a teenager enrolled in a military academy. Play Pals Toy Company feels that the negative press has subsided after a long period of time, so it chooses to relaunch its Good Guys line. Charles Lee Ray’s spirit resurfaces as they recycle vintage materials. When Chucky gets taken by a younger boy while looking for Andy, he thinks it might be simpler to transfer his soul into the gullible youngster. Since only Andy is aware of Chucky’s activities, it is now his responsibility to stop him.
